Pronouncing my last name may seem difficult, Pierczynski [Per-zin-ski], but working with me is not. I am a driven, action-oriented, problem-solving senior product designer. Give me a product scenario, I immediately see the possibilities and will derive a successful solution that is both functional and delightful. I am passionate about the end-to-end design process -- be it ideation, concept creation, research, testing, iterating, and collaboration with cross-functional teams. I find immense satisfaction and accomplishment in it all.
For the past 5 years, I dedicated myself to education equity. As the senior product designer for EducationSuperHighway, a non-profit connecting K-12 students across the nation to high-speed internet access and WiFi, I used my creativity for good. I have designed and collaborated on data-driven web tools that helped national, state, and local education departments make informed decisions to provide our nation’s students with equitable access to digital learning and 21st-century skills.
With EducationSuperHighway achieving its mission of closing the connectivity gap, a rarity in the non-profit space. I had the unique opportunity to lead design-thinking sessions to drive strategic decisions at the executive level. These sessions spurred cross-department collaboration and made us the successful organization we are today. As we, at EducationSuperHighway, close our doors and I am looking for my next career adventure starting in September/October 2020.
